Madison spans from Kings Highway to Avenue U and from Ocean Avenue to Nostrand Avenue. This
neighborhood offers a very strong public school system along with many private schools and
easy access to public transportation.

Marine Park
Marine Park spans from Flatlands Avenue to Avenue U and from Flatbush Avenue to Nostrand &
Gerritsen Avenues. This neighborhood offers a very strong public school system along with easy
access to the Belt Parkway and public transportation.
The streets are also tree lined, residential and there is a strong sense of community! There
are a wide variety of detached and attached one and two family homes on 18' to 40' wide lots.
Some have community driveways while others have private driveways with garages or carports.
Also there is no alternate side of the street parking so you do not have to worry about the
early morning shuffling of cars!
This neighborhood also boasts the 800 acre Marine Park which offers a beautiful playground,
basketball, baseball and tennis and bocce courts. On the opposite side of Avenue U resides
the Salt Marsh Nature Center which offers nature trails along Gerritsen Creek where you can
observe a wealth of flora, fauna and wild life. This is a big hit with children!
Home prices range from $425,000 for a semi-detached one family home to over $750,000 for
detached homes on 30' by 100' lots! There is plenty of shopping on Flatbush Avenue, Quentin

Midwood
Midwood spans from Avenue H to Kings Highway and from Flatbush Avenue to Coney Island Avenue.

Midwood is also the home of Difara Pizza, which is always at the top of the list for pizza
enthusiasts and the New York Times. This pizzeria has been around for over 40 years and is
located on the corner of east 15th Street and Avenue J. NBC also has studios on Avenue M
since 1935 and many sitcoms and soap operas are filmed there to this day.

Sheepshead Bay
Sheepshead Bay spans from Knapp Street to Coney Island Avenue and from Avenue U to Emmons
Avenue. This neighborhood offers easy access to public transportation and access to
recreational fishing boats that depart daily! There are a lot of new development projects
being built and the Emmons Avenue Waterfront is bustling. Most of the homes in the area were
built in the 1950's and 1960's and many are of brick construction. There are a wide variety
of detached and attached one and two family homes of al sizes. Some have shared or community
driveways while other have private driveways and garages. There are also a multitude of co-ops
and condominiums in the area.
Sheepshead Bay is also the home of the United Artist Multiplex Theater, Kingsboro Community
College and Holocaust Memorial Mall Park, which is New York's first public memorial to the
victims of the holocaust. There are many excellent seafood restaurants in the area including
the famous Lundy Brothers. This is also the home of Pip's Comedy Club which is basically the
first comedy club in America and still operates to this day!
Home prices are very diverse; you have 2 bedroom condos going for about $400,000 to one family
attached brick homes selling for about $500,000 or more. There are also many 2 and three family
homes selling in the $700,000 to $800,000 range! There is plenty of shopping on Avenue U,
Nostrand Avenue, Emmons Avenue and Sheepshead Bay Road. There are many great restaurants
catering to all tastes and budgets!
